What a beautiful fall day we had for Bertolucci Family’s photos last weekend. Hart Park is always so amazing at this time of the year. Fall leaves and a wonderful, playful family! What else can a photographer can ask for a great session? It was so much fun chasing the little girls, and watching Gabriela (big sister) sing and jump here and there. And what can I say about their pretty outfits? Sooo adorable!

One of the most common questions I get:
“When should I schedule my maternity photos?” 🤍
The sweet spot is typically between 28–34 weeks.
By then:
• Your belly has a beautiful, round shape
• You’re still comfortable enough to move with ease
• Swelling hasn’t usually peaked
• And we have flexibility before baby arrives
Every pregnancy is different though — if you’re carrying smaller, twins, or feeling uncomfortable earlier, we adjust.
The most important thing?
Don’t wait until you feel “perfect.”
This season is already perfect.
If you’re expecting in Bakersfield this year, I recommend booking your session during your second trimester to secure your date 🤍
