Christmas Family Mini Sessions at Hart Park Bakersfield

Every tag, share, and “you should book with her” means more to me than you might realize. 🤍

When you share your photos and tag Melodi Photography, you help another family find me—and hearing about me from someone they trust makes such a difference.

To everyone who recommends me to a friend, shares a post, or comes back year after year: thank you. You’re a big part of how this little business keeps growing, and I don’t take that for granted.🙏🏻✨

One day, they’re all sleepy stretches and tiny toes. Then suddenly, they’re crawling away from you with somewhere very important to be. 😂

Every stage comes with its own little expressions, favorite ways to play, and new family moments.

These photos are from different sessions, but they share the same idea: remembering your little ones just as they are right now.

And parents, get in a few photos too. Those cuddles belong in the album. 🤍

What’s something your little one does lately that you want to remember?

I’ve always been a hard worker, but running my own business has shown me what that looks like in the little moments.😊

It gets busy but I love the energy of photographing Bakersfield families and babies!

If photos have been on your mind, now’s a good time to reach out so we can find a date that works for your family 🤍

No plan, no perfect location—just a camera, a walk, and whatever catches my eye ☺️

Why does a newborn session take 2–3 hours? 🤍

Not because we’re taking photos for three hours straight. 😉

A lot of that time is spent not taking pictures at all.

Feeding. Soothing. Changing. Cuddling. Waiting for baby to settle. And sometimes trying something, realizing baby has other plans, and moving on. 😄

There’s no pressure to “get the shot” quickly.

Your baby sets the pace, and I build plenty of time into newborn sessions so we can follow their cues instead of watching the clock.

Because beautiful newborn photos shouldn’t come at the expense of a comfortable baby—or stressed parents.

Come in, get comfortable, and let your baby be a baby. 🤍

I’ll take care of the rest.

Save this for your newborn session!
