Now booking Christmas mini sessions! Those are super cute (and limited) holiday sessions, perfect for holiday cards! Here are the details:

Christmas Mini Sessions ($250):


– Location: Melodi Photography studio (with the 2 Christmas photo setups only – a setup for the family and another setup for the little ones). Please see the setups below.
– 20 minute session for immediate family. (Please contact me if you have additional family members that you’d like to invite). 

– Includes up to 5 digital images (with an option to upgrade). 

– One outfit only. (Please ask for the details of upgrading, if you’d like to do an outfit change).

– November 12th, 13th and 14th ONLY.

– Time slots are:  9:00AM, 10:00AM, 11:00AM, 12:00AM, 1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM, 4:00PM. 

– $100 is required to book. The remaining fee ($150) is due on session day. 

–  Prints are optional. Please contact for print details.

(Please note that in addition to the Christmas mini sessions, I also offer mini and full outdoor family sessions. You can find the fall family session details in the previous post. )

When I first started photography, I thought I needed more.😊

More props.
More setups.
More decorations.
More everything.

Over time, I realized that the images I kept coming back to were always the simplest ones.

The photo of a newborn peacefully sleeping.
A mother holding her baby.
A family laughing together.
A child showing their personality without distractions.
I found myself removing things instead of adding them.

What started as a style choice eventually became a reflection of how I see people. I don’t want the background, props, or trends to be the star of the image. I want you to be.
That’s how my photography evolved into a cleaner, brighter, more organic style.

Not because it’s trendy.
Not because it’s popular.

Because years from now, I want you to look at your photos and see your connection, your love, your little one’s tiny features—not the props that were popular at the time.

Simple doesn’t mean less meaningful.

For me, simple makes room for what matters most. ❤️
