Fall Family Mini Session (Outdoors) - 2025
Are you interested in a short and sweet outdoor session with Melodi Photography?
I'll photograph your family in about 30 minutes at CSUB, Riverwalk Park, Haggin Oaks Park or another local park of your choice in SW or NW Bakersfield. (No Hart Park - Please contact to book a full family session at Hart Park).
After the session you'll be able to select your favorite 12 digital images for me to edit and deliver to you within a week. The cost is $400.
The session is for immediate family only. If you'd like to add grandparents, friends, relatives, etc. it's $20 per additional person.
$50 is required to book, and the remaining fee ($350) is due on the day of the session.

Family Portrait Session
Family sessions are a combination of casual lifestyle photography with lightly directed portraits. I like to photograph you acting naturally and having fun in a comfortable environment, but I will also give subtle suggestions and guide you into positions that make for great portraits.
I’d love to get to know you and your family because I want you to love your photos! We will discuss the location, your family’s clothing selections, prop options and your vision.
During our session, children are encouraged to run around, play and be silly.
Family sessions regularly start at $500.

For large families, please inquiry.
$200 non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure a date.
The rest of the fee is due on session day.
Print ordering is optional and prints start at $50.

Not to be dramatic but… being a photographer is 10 jobs in one.
I’m the one hyping you up during your session,
the one chasing golden light and toddler smiles,
then going home to hours of editing while the house is finally quiet.
I’m also the scheduler, the marketer, the bookkeeper, the late-night email responder… a full-on solopreneur building something from the ground up.

Maybe because every time I travel, it brings me back to where my story began. I grew up in Türkiye, and now I’m raising my family in a different part of the world… somewhere between two cultures, two homes.
Travel feels different when you live like this—new places, but familiar feelings.
And through it all, I see everything through my lens. Photography is how I hold onto those in-between moments… the ones that feel like pieces of both past and present.
I can hardly wait for summer so I can travel across the ocean again to visit both my hometown and some new countries☀️
