One of the most common questions I get:
“When should I schedule my maternity photos?” 🤍
The sweet spot is typically between 28–34 weeks.
By then:
• Your belly has a beautiful, round shape
• You’re still comfortable enough to move with ease
• Swelling hasn’t usually peaked
• And we have flexibility before baby arrives
Every pregnancy is different though — if you’re carrying smaller, twins, or feeling uncomfortable earlier, we adjust.
The most important thing?
Don’t wait until you feel “perfect.”
This season is already perfect.

Every baby brings their own rhythm to a session 🤍
This little one needed a slower start. A bit more comfort. A bit more time in cozy arms before settling.
So we listened.
We kept her gently swaddled.
We slowed the pace.
We allowed for extra cuddles and pauses.
Newborn sessions are never about forcing poses. They’re about reading the baby in front of you and adjusting with patience.
Swaddling can be incredibly comforting for babies who need that extra sense of security. And honestly? There’s something so timeless about a peacefully wrapped newborn.
Every session teaches me again that flexibility matters. Babies lead the way — we simply follow.
