It may be hard to tell from the photos, but it was freezing cold on the day we did this session. Last weekend, right after the storm, the J. family drove all the way from Santa Clarita to Bakersfield for this fun mission – to have their family portraits taken in the beautiful almond orchards!
Not sure how long it took for them to arrive Bakersfield (due to road closures), but definitely way more than usual, and they were so determined! Plus they brought the cutest props with them for a sweet family picnic setup!
Capturing the warmth and smiles of this family truly melt my heart. At the end of the session they left Bakersfield feeling full of love. I think they will never forget about this trip :)
