Baby girl Kayla dressed in traditional Korean attire with a modern twist – a pair of cute sunglasses adding a touch of sass and style – she was the epitome of charm and grace. 
As a photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing this special milestone, blending the rich heritage of Korean tradition with the playful spirit of childhood. But what made this photo session truly unique was the thoughtful incorporation of elements symbolizing the baby’s future aspirations. 
In Korean culture, the Doljabi ceremony holds great significance during a child’s first birthday celebration. It involves placing various objects in front of the baby and observing which one they choose, as it’s believed to foretell their future path or profession. So, her mom and grandma decided to incorporate this meaningful tradition into our photo session.
