Baby girl Kayla dressed in traditional Korean attire with a modern twist – a pair of cute sunglasses adding a touch of sass and style – she was the epitome of charm and grace. ❤

As a photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing this special milestone, blending the rich heritage of Korean tradition with the playful spirit of childhood. But what made this photo session truly unique was the thoughtful incorporation of elements symbolizing the baby’s future aspirations. 😎

In Korean culture, the Doljabi ceremony holds great significance during a child’s first birthday celebration. It involves placing various objects in front of the baby and observing which one they choose, as it’s believed to foretell their future path or profession. So, her mom and grandma decided to incorporate this meaningful tradition into our photo session. 😀

What an amazing session and celebration of this sweetie’s big milestone!

Some photoshoots feel more like a beach day than work, and this was definitely one of them. ☀️🌊

Watching these little ones run barefoot in the sand and simply enjoy being kids was a reminder that the best images come from genuine moments.

And can we talk about these outfits? The beautiful prints, thoughtful designs, and incredible quality from @shopfourseeds photographed so effortlessly in the golden light. Every piece was not only adorable but made for movement, play, and making memories.

12 years ago, I picked up a camera and hoped for the best. 🤍

I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that freezing a moment in time — a laugh, a look, a hand being held — felt like the most important thing in the world.

And somehow, twelve years later, it still does ❤️

To every mama who let me photograph her newborn at 7am. To every dad who said “I hate photos” and then cried when he saw them. To every grandma, every toddler, every family who trusted me with the moments that matter most — thank you.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you 🙏🏻❤️

This little business has changed my life. And I hope, in some small way, it’s changed yours too. 🥹
