Growing up I did not foresee myself being a “Newborn Photographer” or any photographer at that. (Did I mention that I have a Master’s degree in Education?) But it has definitely become a great passion of mine.  I just love everything about newborn babies and photographing them. That “newborn-ness” is just so precious and sweet… I feel so grateful that parents choose me to photograph their babies at one of the most important stage of their lives.

I love it when I get to cuddle with teeny tiny babies, and witness the powerful love that exists between the parents and their new little bundle of joy. It also just melts my heart when I see the pure joy older siblings have for their new ones. My clients get all teary eyed when they view the images I’ve created for them.  They leave my studio so happy and excited. I truly feel very honored.

When you book a session with me, you can book it with confidence that not only am I a legal business operating here in California, but I am qualified, experienced (especially with properly & safely handling newborns and babies) and always like to be prepared. I carry insurance to cover my equipment of course, but more importantly- the safety of my clients and their little ones. In life, you can never be too safe, or too prepared, and I fully believe in being better safe than sorry. I am trained in properly handling and posing newborns/babies to safely get them into the desired poses all while keeping baby comfortable and relaxed/asleep, in knowing how to recognize or respond to a baby that may be in an uncomfortable pose/position, as well as ensuring their overall safety at all times.
