Newborn Session

Newborn sessions are done best in the first 2-3 weeks after birth to ensure those squishy and sleepy poses. As soon as you book, a welcome guide is sent to you which includes lots of helpful tips and information for a successful newborn session.

In the meantime we will discuss the available props, your vision, favorite colors, style of your baby’s nursery room, etc.

Newborn session packages start at $700.

You can book a "Bump to Baby" maternity and newborn sessions package and save $.

Please visit the maternity session page for more info.

$200 non-refundable retainer fee is required to secure a date (If your baby arrives earlier or later than expected, we can always reschedule). The rest of the fee is due on session day.

Print ordering is optional and prints start at $50.

Baby Registry

Family and friends can purchase gift certificates to give to the expecting parents which will be applied toward their photo session balance and/or product purchase. The gift of Melodi Photography portraits is one that expecting parents will be able to cherish long after their bundle of joy has outgrown another cute outfit!

Gift givers who purchase registry credits will be mailed a beautiful gift card to give at the shower or even after baby is born.

I’m Turkish, so Turkish coffee has always been part of my life ☕️🇹🇷 But after my trip to Türkiye this summer, I came home and somehow made it part of my daily routine.I’m normally a filtered coffee person, but Turkish coffee feels less like “just coffee” and more like a little ritual. You make it slowly, sit down, drink it slowly, and usually end up having a conversation while you’re at it.And then comes the fun part… coffee fortune telling. 🔮In Turkish culture, after you finish your coffee, you turn the cup upside down on the saucer and let the leftover grounds create patterns. Once the cup cools, someone reads those shapes and tries to interpret what they might mean — a road, a bird, a heart, money, travel… basically, whatever they can see. 😂It’s not really about taking tthe fortune seriously. It’s more of a fun tradition and an excuse to sit together, talk, gossip a little, and see what the cup has to say.And somehow, after my trip, I started doing it by myself. 😂So now I make my Turkish coffee, enjoy my little moment, turn the cup over… and wait for the universe to tell me what’s next. ☕️🔮🤎Have you ever tried Turkish coffee or had your fortune read from the coffee grounds?#Turkishcoffee#immigrantstories #turkish #traditions
