All Aboard | Our Train Ride

Last Saturday we decided to take the train to go to Santa Barbara. We drove to Oxnard and boarded the train going north.It was Melodi’s first train ride, and she was so excited about it. It was amazing to see her sing and shout “All aboaaard!”.

During our 1 hour ride we were able to enjoy the scenery of beautiful Pacific ocean.  And it was just perfect! There were many camping areas, beautiful beaches and pretty streets on our way and it made us think that life is really good in California, and we’re grateful to be living in this pretty state.

When we arrived Santa Barbara, we rented a big family bike and rode by the sea. And later we enjoyed the beach. It was such a fun day!

This past year was full of tiny moments that didn’t feel big at the time —
a sleepy newborn stretch, a messy cake smash, shy smiles, giggles that lasted only seconds ♥️

Memories fade.
The details soften.
But photos don’t✨

They freeze the in-between moments we forget we’ll miss.
They remind us how small they once were, how fast everything changed.
They bring us back to seasons we didn’t know we’d be nostalgic for yet.

As I look back at this year’s sessions, I’m reminded why printing photos matters so much.
Because one day, these images won’t just be photos —
they’ll be proof of love, growth, and time passing far too quickly.
