Yesterday I hosted a book party. That was the first time I had such a book event in my house so I didn’t know exactly what to expect, but everything turned out so much fun! Sweet Judi from Usborne Books and More came and showed us some awesome kids books and read many stories to the kids. Usborne Books and More are really interactive and engaging. Some of my favorites are:

Secrets of the Apple Tree  (You shine a light at the back of the pages to reveal hidden images. Isn’t that so creative and fun? )

There is a Mouse About the House (The book comes with a mouse to move through the pages. It gets so much fun as the little fingers follow the dotted lines and put the mouse in slots of each page to see where the mouse is going in the next page.)

I’m so happy that I had the chance to get to know those books and purchase some of them for my daughter. She literally LOVED the books! It was a great time spent with the neighbors and friends, too.
